I grew up locally in Glendale and attended Hoover High school. For my undergrad, I graduated from UC Riverside and then got my credential at Cal State Northridge. I taught English in Korea for a year. I came back and taught 3rd grade in Anaheim. After two years of teaching elementary, I realized that I needed to be around older kids and so looked for a job in high school. I eventually landed a job here at La Canada High, teaching 8th grade math and science. When an opportunity arose to teach 7th grade, I jumped at it and now am here as a 7th grade math teacher.

Not only have I taught mainly math, I have also coached volleyball for 17 years. I started by coaching 7/8 volleyball for La Canada back in 1999. I eventually found myself coaching the varsity team at the high school, where we won a CIF title back in 2008. I retired from coaching last year so that I can focus on my family. I am married with two daughters, ages 2 and 3. My family is where most of my energy goes but when I have some free time, I really enjoy watching the LAKERS, UCLA football, and the Dodgers.
