Samantha Wright is a proud math nerd who hopes to get students as excited about math as she is. She earned her BA in Mathematics and Spanish from the University of Montana in 2001, then after three years of teaching math in Santa Monica, returned to the University of Montana to earn her masters.
She has been at LCHS 7/8 since 2013 and loves being a part of the great team of School 3! Before coming to LCHS she was a math coach to middle school teachers in the Santa Monica Malibu Unified School District.
She loves anything outdoors, especially hiking and camping with her husband, two kids and dog. She spends any free time she has in the mountains of Montana and Idaho and loves to flyfish almost as much as she loves to do math. While in California, if she's not at school, you may find her in the hills near Burbank or at the beach in Malibu or Santa Barbara.
