LCHS 8th Grade Varsity Boys Basketball Tryouts
 
We would like to thank all the players who tried out for the LCHS 8th Grade Varsity Boys Basketball team.  We truly appreciate that every player put forth their best effort.  There were a lot of talented player who tried out.  Unfortunately, we are not able to have all the players who tried out on the team.  We would encourage everyone, especially those who were not selected, to continue working on their game and to tryout for the high school freshman team at the end of the school year.  The high school basketball teams often carry more players on their roster.  We wish everyone the best moving forward.

For the players who made the team, we are planning to practice on the LCHS outdoor basketball court on Monday (10/27) after school until 5pm.  We are also planning to have an important parent meeting at the end of Monday's practice.  There will also be a practice right after school on Wednesday (10/29) until 5:30pm, in the LCHS South Gym.  Our first game is an away game at Clifton Middle School in Monrovia on Thursday.  Both 7th Grade JV and 8th Grade Varsity Boys Basketball teams will be on the same bus to and from the game at Clifton. 
 
We will send out a message on Parent Square with more details this weekend.  Players who made the team and their parents should check their email daily, as a minimum, since Parent Square will be the primary method of communication throughout the season.
