LCHS 7/8 Athletics

We would like to thank all the players who put forth their best effort and participated in the tryout process.  We would encourage everyone to continue playing the beautiful game of soccer and working on their touch and skills.  It's not uncommon for players to not make the team as a 7th grader, work on and improve their skills, then tryout and make the team as an 8th grader.  The high school soccer teams typically have larger rosters and carry more players than the 7/8 soccer teams which improves players chances of making the high school soccer team.  We would encourage the 8th graders who didn't make this year's 7/8 soccer team to tryout for the high school team next year.  We wish everyone the best moving forward.
